Complimentary 30-day defect correction
Defects attributable to the original development work are corrected without additional development fees for 30 days, starting from first public availability on each contracted app platform. For apps not distributed publicly, the 30 days start from the agreed production handoff date.
Defects caused by the original implementation that prevent initial app-store approval are addressed within the agreed original scope. App-store approval itself cannot be guaranteed.
New feature requests, changes in client requirements, unrelated third-party outages and later platform requirements are not automatically included. Any mandatory consumer rights are preserved.
How maintenance works
- Hours reset each monthly billing period and do not roll over.
- Included maintenance work is limited to the available monthly hours.
- Major upgrades, new features, redesigns, extensive backend modifications and services exceeding included hours require separate approval and pricing.
- Additional approved post-launch app development and maintenance work is CAD $110/hour plus applicable GST/HST.
- Website support is billed under the Website Maintenance terms. Extra in-project app revisions are quoted in writing before any work begins.
- Third-party platform, hosting, developer account and subscription charges are separate unless expressly included.
- Response targets are not guarantees of issue resolution or uninterrupted app availability.
- Maintenance is optional and requires an agreed service arrangement.
